Good Points
Solid, reliable, waterproof.
Useful storage capacity.
Very fast access.
Bad Points
Too fat to fit two next to each other in a PC's standard side-by-side front panel USB ports.
General Comments
The Corsair Flash Voyager 1GBis is a real tool, not a toy, for people needing to transport large amounts of data. The rubberized casing protects it from damage in your pocket, although if you're a real geek you can use the supplied high quality neck strap. The supplied CD contains encryption software should you need security for your files (although as a pen-drive no driver software is required under Windows XP for normal use). A blue LED adds a little distinction to the design.
Compared with disappointing no-name "value" pen drives, data transfer to and from the Corsair is extremely fast, especially with large files. For example, a 130MB file writes to the device in just 13 seconds, and reads back to the PC in just 8 seconds. This speed, combined with its 1GB capacity, make this an utterly superb tool for transferring files.
