Good Points
You can list anything you want from any store.
You can add "charity" items and items for yourself on the same list.
It is free.
Bad Points
Look and feel is quite bright - might not be to everyone's taste!
General Comments
WhatToGive.com www.whattogive.com - This site did the trick for our wedding list! We wanted something flexible and easy to use for us and our guests - we liked the way that guests didn't need to register or know a funny ID - they just used our email address to find our list. The biggest bonus was not being limited to one store - we could list anything - even a couple of things that weren't available online. We were able to put donations to charity and stuff for ourselves on the same list.
It was free too, which we couldn't quite believe for such a good service! We were so used to wedding related things costing a fortune!
It had quite a few nice little touches that other sites we looked at seemed to miss out. Things like being able to get a printable version of the list that we could include in wedding invites. And we could link from our own wedding web site direct to the list. We didn't use the SMS thing where you can add items from your phone but I liked the idea of that.
We going to keep our list now and use it for Christmas - with new stuff on obviously!
