Good Points
I have a purple and red DC07. Suction has been excellent always surprised how much it picks up don't think I could find a better Hoover for all floor types. I like the drum emptying facility, as this is clean and easy to take whole drum to the bin. Good that you can turn the hose telescopic hose around so that handle doesn't get in the way.

Bad Points
Disappointed that at 4.5 years old has started to overheat and cut out after 5 minutes hovering, therefore needs a new motor.

General Comments
I am paying to have it fixed, because I think I would struggle to find a better one. Only gave it a 7 and nothing more because of disappointment that the motor hasn't lasted longer for the price of the Hoover. Would advise that you do not overstretch the hose section, as this will split (as mine did). Hoover quite heavy if you're not very strong.
