Good Points
Radio - programmable recording
Line-in recording - record straight from the CD player, no PC needed
Voice recorder will run for hours, and it is voice activated if you want it
File Navigator and options menu
Excellent manual

Bad Points
About the same size as half a small banana. It's like a triangular prism only nicely rounded.

General Comments
The iRiver iFP-895 MP3 player is a neat device that stores 512Mb of music, runs for hours on a single cheap AA battery, happily uses NiMH rechargeable batteries, and additionally functions pretty much like a programmable radio recorder, Dictaphone, and recorder.
