“I saw this film the first night in the cinema that it...”

written by MarkysBabe1987 on 12/04/2005

Good Points
Twists in the tales are great.
Like the way you see the flashbacks of what he has done to other people.

Bad Points
Some people might find it too gruesome.

General Comments
I saw this film the first night in the cinema that it came out and loved it. I wouldn't class it as a horror film at all, more of a thriller.

It starts off with 2 men waking up in a cold, abandoned warehouse and as their eyes focus a voice booms into the room telling them why they are here and what they have to do to get out.

I dont want to spoil too much for people who havn't seen it. The twists in it are excellent and keep you on the edge of your seat.

You find out that the person who is keeping them in this warehouse is called 'Jigsaw' and there are flashbacks to tell you who else he has done this to. He plays deadly games with people who he thinks should be punished. His other 'games' include putting a jaw lock on a woman and she has to cut open an alive mans stomach to get the key before the jaw lock snaps her chin off. There are a few other flashbacks of the games he plays like this, some viewers might find it a bit upsetting/gruesome.

The end to the film is totally unpredictable (I wont spoil it for you) and it leaves you in your seat stunned.

I defintly recommend this film as it was or I think it was the best film of 2004.
