“He loves people, he loves other dogs, and he loves...”

Good Points
I have a lovely male Shih Tzu. He has just turned 2 and he is wonderful. I couldn't ask for a better companion. He is wonderful with my 2 year old niece and other children, who run up to cuddle him. He always sits and lets them stroke and cuddle him. He even enjoyed the fireworks we had the in garden the other evening; nothing bothers him. He is a very good dog.

Bad Points
The only thing I can think of is that sometimes he doesn't like his hair combed; other times he is fine, but sometimes he just doesn't want me bothering him with it, which is fine, as we all have our off days. He can also get over-excited when people come to visit us, but in a friendly way.

General Comments
He loves people, he loves other dogs, and he loves children. I also had one as a family pet when I was a child, and I loved him too, which is the reason why I decided to get another Shih Tzu.
