written by Timmy029 on 28/05/2005

Good Points
Mp3 player, good quality screen, reliable, good quality video and the ability to transfer image's, videos etc via memory card is really good, can also add games via the memory card. Can also play mp3's as ringtones.

Bad Points
Camera quality, no bluetooth. To say the camera is 1.3 mp it isn't very good quality but is still better than most other camera phones out there.

General Comments
The O2 X3 phone is extremely good value for money and I would highly recommend it. If you buy the phone with the early version of the firm ware (I did) you will experience problems it's pretty much a fact. All you have to do is take it back to where you bought it from and ask for them to send it off to o2 for repair and list the problems, then all problems are fixed any my phone hasn't crashed on me once since I sent it off (about 4 months ago). The camera quality is the only disappointment with this phone, but all other features are good, I would have liked to have seen Bluetooth but for the price I can't complain. The mp3 player is the main reason I bought this phone and it certainly isn't a disappointment and the ability to upgrade the memory to upto 1gb is also a bonus, and unlike some people say on the internet it really isn't difficult to transfer files to the memory card just takes an SD card reader and a mini SD to SD adapter (comes with an mini SD card if you do buy a new one) over all I would highly recommend this phone, just if you get the old firmware send it off to o2 for upgrading.
