“Overall, an amazing amp with delicious and shapeable...”

Good Points
2 very distinct channels, each with foot-switchable gain/boost so it's effectively a 4 channel amp. The effects loop options are outstanding and well thought out. Switchable power-amp bias for EL34 or 6L6s. Built like a tank. The reverb is actually good.

Bad Points
I find the distortion channel rather blah and lifeless but it makes up for it once the gain/drive is activated. Then it screams. 100 watts is actually too much power so i wish it had a switch to drop it down to 50 and 25 watts too like some amps do nowadays. It's as heavy as a tank.

General Comments
Overall, an amazing amp with delicious and shapeable tone; especially once you get a hang of the EQ. The distortion channel with drive is shear distorted pleasure from searing 80's type distortion to modern drop-tuned metal... you can sell your distortion and overdrive pedals because this amp doesn't need them. The clean channel shouldn't be overlooked either. I usually play it with the gain boost but it's got a great shimmering sound that is full and rich. And lets not forget how cool the amp itself looks. The mirror finish front panel and chicken head knobs makes this a class act through and through. Forget the expensive boutique amps because this bad boy delivers!
