Few reviewers have made very helpful comment on the amp's features. AER Alpha amps are expensive so saying stuff like "fantastic sound" does not help -an expensive amp SHOULD sound good .. Thanks to the reviewer who compared this amp to other makes, and made fair criticism. I like the size, weight, build and sound of this amp AER seems to be the best at this price in the portable acoustic amp department.

For those on a tighter budget I'd definitely recommend trying their guitar thru some small active speakers, which are more reasonably priced, especially secondhand - AER amps command quite a high price even when in used condition.
