General Comments
I love this Ford Probe 2.5 V6 sports car and its a lot of car for what there worth! Dont buy the 16v version as its very un-relible, and seriously under powered for its weight. If you buy the V6 2.5 model you'll get better suspension wheels AND a Mazda MX6 engine that is just waiting to be opened up. Invest in a K&N 57i induction kit and you'll unleash the power under the bonnet and it'll sound like a v12 monster. BUT back to my bad points comment above.... if you find a probe cutting out or cutting out then lurching forward then cutting again, it's a pretty good chance the factory imobiliser is packing up... try this when your car cuts out, kick the the centre console (in the foot well next to your left foot where the heat comes out of) with your foot and if the car kicks in it's definatley the imobiliser. Dont try to fix it as many web sites may guide you to do (i tried and tried with my solder iron) look up how to take it out and twist the wires together correctly to bypass the system.
