“I used the Qualcast Elan 32 for a couple of years then...”

Written on: 17/06/2008 by androo4519 (2 reviews written)

Good Points
Fairly small. Does cut the grass.

Bad Points
Awkward to assemble in the first place with bad instructions. Power switch uncomfortable to use and 'clicks off' by itself repeatedly. Height adjuster horrible to use.

General Comments
I used the Qualcast Elan 32 for a couple of years then saw sense and replaced it with a superb Bosch Rotak that made me realise what I was missing. Feeble motor gave up when trying to mow long-ish or damp grass. Grassbox needs emptying too often. Cable tidy and power cable holders keep dropping off. Cable too short. Drops grass all over the place. Gets clogged up very easily. Doesn't do such a great job. Stripes not easy to achieve despite roller.
