Good Points
Very easy to use. Lots of features to experiment with. Does everything I need it to. The cradle is a brilliant little gadget.
Bad Points
LCD display is not really useable in bright sunlight.
General Comments
I had been thinking about the Fuji 4700 for a while but the attractiveness of the cradle etc included with the 6800 made the 4700 look less good value. The Fuji 4800 was the perfect solution for me. This was my first foray into digital photography and I now cannot imagine going back to film etc. The Fuji 4800 is light, easy to handle and the zoom is great. My wife was initially worried about using a digital camera like this but now she takes it everywhere (maybe I'll have to buy another one just for me!)
Definitely recommended for general photography, although it is a very good idea to familiarise yourself with all the features and settings as this will enable you to take better 'normal' photos as well as the more 'arty' ones.
I have had several prints done from the large, high resolution format files and they are absolutely brilliant. I really like the black and white feature too.
