Good Points
1. Well designed user interface
2. Dixons as a retail outlet
Bad Points
1. Satellite signal strength
2. Tom Tom Helpline
General Comments
I exchanged 2 and ultimately gave the 3rd Tom Tom Go 700 back, all within a month!
The 1st stopped working (did not switch on).
The 2nd received no signals (despite switching on) and the 3rd did neither!
I could not get through to Tom Tom (Hint: make call using loudspeaker in front of retailer/reseller manager!) despite numerous attempts, so demanded my money back!
I think the technology is too advanced and is going through its teething problems -> let's hope the new European satellite "Gallileo" will help to resolve these problems. Till then, back to spending a few bob on some A to Z maps and some fluorescent pens!
