Both my wife and I ordered wine carrier hampers from Marks and Spencer to be set to two different addresses - the first on never arrived and my wife was not informed until after the deliery date which was a bit embarrassing as she had specificall asked the friend to stay in. The second wine carrier was not delivered either and I received firm confirmation that it had been delivered and signed for. My son checkd with neighbours and they denied that the gift had been signed for by them. The signature turned out to be a depot manager in Norhampton. M&S explained that the wine carier was faulty hence it being returned to the depot! If I had not chased this trail with M&S I would have been charged for the gift that did not arrive. Whilst I did not expect much compensation I was offered nothing for the many phone calls I made, my son not receiving the Christmas present - my account was re-credited with the original amount. Not good enough for a company hat prides itself on customer relations and customer satisfaction.
