Good Points
I get a consistant 42 MPG unless I flog her, then it's 33 MPG, comfort, good handling . Easy to keep on the road because of 20 Yr production run means availability of new or used parts.

Bad Points
carburators are difficult to set fuel level on ( not to be confused with FLOAT Level). Parts from Kawasaki are on the pricey side.

General Comments
In todays world of specialized motorcycles, the Kawasaki ZG1000 / GTR1000 is able to do many things well.
