Good Points
Very well built with quality parts, very lightweight, superb handling around town and twisty B-roads, punchy engine, top notch brakes and suspension, looks ace and 100% reliable
Bad Points
As with all Super Motos, the 404 isn't a lot of fun on straight roads but then it wasn't designed for that.
Wouldn't make an ideal main bike, any journey over 30 mins would not be fun.
Expensive when new 2 years ago.
General Comments
I use the CCM 404 DualSport is a 2nd bike so it's effectively a fun bike, it's only done 2,500 miles (a Ducati M1000 Monster does the major mileage and longer journeys).
I've had the CCM 2 years now and it's never had a hint of a problem. It's a perfect bike for throwing around tight twisty local roads for shortish periods of time.
The handling is awesome and also quite forgiving. Great feedback from suspension and frame.
It's also great in town with a responsive and punchy 398cc single cylinder engine.
Even after 2 years, I still have a massive smile when I'm riding it.
The 404 still looks mint but then the mileage is low.
