Good Points
Excellent starters and main courses. Umberto's ability to give you a good taste of Italian food is great.
Very well prepared tables. So well, that could be considered "posh" to a certain level.
Above average speed of service.

Bad Points
Not so polite waiter. The entrance of the restaurant is too narrow and the tables are clustered too much together allowing no space for interior design.
The deserts were frozen and not fresh.
When asked for water, an opened bottle of still water was offered to us with exact taste as tap water.

General Comments
I would recommend Umberto's in Norwich to anyone who wanted to try the specific taste of Umberto's cuisine, but not for the overall quality of the restaurant.



Umberto's restaurant should emphasise in the future more on customer service (changing the old-fashioned music, redecorating the interior design etc.).



Anyway, we have seen only couples of 40+ and maybe this could be in accordance with the abovementioned.



Overall, good.
