“Charged for non existant damage.”

I hired the car for a couple of hours as we missed the flight, and had 2 young children with us, so it was easier to go back to the apartment. After booking we were kept waiting, then told the vehicle wasn't ready, so they changed to a different one. Looked to me as if they were waiting for the chosen time before they let us have the car.

We dropped the car on time, leaving the key in the drop in box @ Malaga airport. Later found I had been charged approx 300, when chased up with them, they replied car was damaged, as we didn't take the extended cover out, we were charged this amount, a £25 car hire for 8 hours.

I wish I had checked the reviews first, I visit Spain 3 times a year, and I have used many car hire companies, this has definelty been the worst.
