I have been using Max Spielman for quick tests of old film cameras, by having a film developed and scanned to CD. The quality has now deteriorated to a level that can only be described as total cr@p. The shop staff do not take care of the film (it is allowed to drag on the floor); the development is often done with stale chemicals; light leaks across the film are common; scanning is very low resolution (nominally about 1.5megapixels); the image/file compression smears all details; the scan is much too high contrast. On the plus side, staff cheefully do a bad job.
There are not many more things that can go wrong or be done more badly.
Completely useless, lousy quality and awful value for money.
