“Cancelled my policy after a notice about review was given”

One month before my policy had expired, i was given a notice to not renew my policy next year and was asked to send me nine years NCB.
After 2 days they just cancelled my policy, when i rang and asked them why the cancelled my policy and they said they didn't know why that happened. I asked to restore my policy because there was only a month left, they said that's not possible because the policy was cancelled, I said i didn't made any requests for the cancellation, they just said they understood but couldn't do anything to help me. I wasted a year of NCB. I strongly do not recommend this company.
I paid for the my insurance in advance.
