“Excellent value”

Our previous Palicomp machine, running 32-bit Vista, had reached the end of the road. The hardware was still functioning faultlessly, but Vista was becoming increasingly inadequate.
I did my research, and settled on an i3 with 8gb memory and a 120gb SSD alongside a 1tb hard disk. I spoke to the very helpful sales team to confirm the suitability of the SSD and check which case would provide a front-mounted USB3 port. I was advised that a Fractal Design Core 1100 would be a good choice.
The machine arrived at the expected time, very well protected and with all disks. It is quiet and fantastically fast for our normal use (Office and web browsing - no on-line games). Windows 10 is OK, once you've switched off all the annoying 'spyware' options and put Cortana to bed. It's nice to have free AVG anti-virus installed. One of the benefits of purchasing from Palicomp is that the OS comes with all but the very latest updates installed.
