Did a online quote for my partners insurance I work in the industry myself so naturally I didnthe usual things checked excess,benefits etc called up to pay was told I can't have my online rate as the price has changed they work off real time rates that change every second. Strange I though but hey ho each to there own paid online passed to a page saying you will receive your documents shortly l as I needed to drive there and then I called was told yes you can drive it's fine just processing your payment. 3 hours later no docs spoke customer services was told no cover in force I was horrified as my partner has just done a 30 min car journey with no insurance in place asked them to set up the insurance from now was told we can't find your payment! After 50 mins on the phone and speaking to a rentention manager(I wish I could name as he was the only person who actually sound like the cared and understood the seriousness of the situation) I was sorted so if you need car insurance and want to spend over 4 hours trying to get your policy or you wish to break the law and drive uninsured I'd call Hastings......
