My boyfriend and I were holidaying in north wales and, being Britain, found a few days of poor weather to try and do something with. we both recalled a sea life centre from when we were kids and thought it would be fun to wander round.
it cost £7.50 each to enter and we struggled to get more than half an hour out of it, so wandered through for a second time learning nothing more from the four rooms. the tanks are very small - particularly for the conga eels which look like they hardly have room to turn and I think its fair to say is a small collection of fish tanks rather than a 'sea zoo' several of the tanks contained the same fish and the info on the walls were mainly laminated printouts. the whole building is damp and the carpeted walls smell of mould.
the cafe was not much better being over priced and quite unwelcoming. There is a playground outside for the children but I think if the weather is good enough for the outdoors then your best heading out to an actual adventure playground and to poke about in rock pools on the beach.
