“Send damaged goods”

Ordered online. Items came with no protective packaging. Just stuck loose in a box to 'rattle around'. Packing box was perfect, but one of the items inside was damaged, so clearly damaged when sent out. Online asked for photo's, then when sent, told me to take to store for inspection (why photo's then). Wouldn't reserve a replacement, to avoid it being sold out by the time a replacement could be ordered.
Previous experience with online 'customer support' is also very poor. They don't send items between stores for you, so you can't order from one and collect at your nearest. They can't tell you which of their stores have the items you want (for instore only items). On the whole this outfit are a joke, with very poor customer support!
