“Can't use the gift cards”

Us and our daughter ordered £450 love2shop gift cards, went to spend the gift card at one of the advertised shops and found that we can't use the gift cards in there or in 50% of the stores advertised for love2shop vouchers. With the paper vouchers you can't get any change from them so if you spend £8 from a £10 voucher you loose £2 of the voucher with the love2shop cards you don't loose any money BUT you are so limited to where you can spend them and this was not made clear in the brochure.
We are so disappointed as we had planned where to spend them now we have to totally rethink what to get for Christmas.
We were offered paper vouchers with no apology or explanation from Park Hampers at all, I will never use Park Hampers again and i would advice everyone to not buy anything from them.
We are opening an account just for Christmas and save for next Christmas that way.
