“Don't bother pre ordering”

I won't be bothering to pre order items again, having pre ordered the full sets of Dark crystal and Labyrinth pop vinyls in July due for release in September and October. I was pleased to get a dispatch notice for the Labyrinth figures but then realised that Aughra was not being sent with the other figures, I checked online to discover Aughra listed as out of stock, no notification was sent that I would not receive one of the figures and no details of when they might be in stock either. Being close to a Forbidden planet store on holiday last weekend I popped in and bought Aughra there and cancelled my order as I did not know when or if I would get the one I had ordered. Then guess what I get a notification today that the Labyrinth figures are being sent ohh but hold on Hoggle is not listed quick check online and of course he is also out of stock.
Pluses are that the items arrived promptly and well packaged its just when you pre order a set of something you want the whole set and I appreciate that the online store and high street stores probably have separate stock allocation but it sucks to pre order something and not get it when somebody else could just walk into a store and buy it, unfortunately as I don't have a store near me so this is not possible.
