Ordered some internal bifolding doors from this company, was told there would be a further delay in delivery to what we thought was going to be original delivery date, whereby our joiner could have fitted prior to going away and would have seen the faults. Instead, doors arrived just after our carpenter/joiner had gone on 3 week holiday and we kept them safe and stored unopened as all sorts of other work going on round the house (so didn't unpackage them as didn't want to get them damaged). When carpenter came round to fit them, there was damage to the frame on one side and one of the doors was badly scratched chipped. Got in touch with Builder Depot and you guessed it, they weren't prepared to exchange or refund. We had to pay extra money for our carpenter to fill and repair and on top of that it didn't even have a handle so have to buy one - more expense that we just have to swallow. How do these companies get away with it. They say "according to their t&c's" etc but surely as a buyer we must have rights outside of their t&c's. Whatever you do, don't use this company. You have been warned.
