“A spoilt weekend ”

We used leisure time and booked a family break to the hotel Burlington in Torquay.It took us 9 hours to get there and then there were issues with our driver!i once we had reached our hotel we were faced with dark horrible dirty rooms.Teapots were mouldy,toilets were dirty,water jugs had dried gone off milk in them,dust and mould everywhere and in need of a good clean .The pool was out of order.This was meant to be a family break.Thrre were no facilities for children there and in booking .com it states that they cannot accommodate children.Why do they continue to use this hotel .as a large company doesn't someone inspect the hotels first ???The trip advisor reviews are mostly bad and all say the same .I am very disappointed .
