We ordered a laptop for our son that be needed for school (he is dyslexic). We wanted it for the start of term to avoid the problems of work not being printed off when he had been using the school laptops.
We ordered in sufficient time to ensure delivery but received no communication until the day we were expecting delivery where they stated 'there had been an error in the warehouse and they couldn't find the product and so our order had been cancelled.
We then went back into their system, found they had stock of 9 laptops. We put in another order on express delivery (at our expense) and low and behold it was delivered as expected.
They really need to improve your customer communications and warehouse systems.
