We rented a Ford Fiesta from Perth to Carlisle on a Saturday morning. Had to rush as the Carlisle branch kept ringing us to say they were shutting at 12.30pm. Arrived at 12.20pm, but didn't get the chance to refill the half a tank of fuel we had used. Was told they would charge £1.25 a litre which I was prepared to accept as in a rush. Needless to say they have charged way more - basically a full tank at £1.52 a litre. No response from Customer Service. I am reporting them to Trading Standards. Will use Enterprise in future and not these con-artists.
