Good Points
Very cheap price holiday. The rooms were extremely basic with no tea and coffee making facilities. The waitessses were very helpful and friendly. One of the waiters was bad tempered and rude on occassions.
Bad Points
The food is the worst I have ever had in a hotel. The breakfast was thin processed cheese and rolls with a choice of cereals. The evening meal was unbelievable. I have never known such quality, even though there are seconds bought to the table (different meat to the first offering). Take your own towels with you if you go to the Admiral because the ones provided are so old they disintegrate as you use them. There is no shower gel or shampoo provided, no hairdryer. Basically no home comforts. I overheard a conversation in the hotel 'he doesnt provide tea and coffee in the room because he wants you down in the bar spending money on drinks'. The owner doesn't tell you how to use the television because again he wants you in the bar not in the room.
My husband booked extra leg room because he is over 6ft tall. He never got it.
General Comments
Overall it was a very cheap offer but you get a cheap service. I would not recommend Hotel Admiral to other people. I would sooner pay a little more and get a more comfortable hotel. The hotel is set in an excellent situation, you are close to all shops amd facilities.
