“Excellent Value, Great Car, Very Easy, Great Service”

Hi, we booked a Car through Portugal Auto Rentals for 2 weeks from 26/07/16 at Porto Airport to 09/08/16 returning the car to Faro Airport, initially we booked a petrol car through Europcar but changed it for a Renault Clio / Seat Ibiza / VW Polo Diesel Car through Sixt. On arrival at the airport we were taken on a few minute journey to Sixt.

The lady at Six offered us extras like insurance, satnav and an upgrade to a bigger car, but I declined as we had our own excess insurance and Satnav. They gave us a 2016 Vauxhall Astra Tourer (which was too big as we were going to Porto, Lisbon, Albuferia and Vilamoura and there was only 2 of us) I changed the car to a brand new Diesel Renault Clio Tourer with 7km on the clock which was perfect as all our luggage was in the boot (2 Large and 2 Small cases).

We will definately will use Portugal Auto Rentals again, as the price was great and there were no extra charges for Additional Driver, one way fees, no charges for going across to Spain, the Toll box was included and great email communication with PAR. This Renault came with a built in Tomtom which was not used as our 2012 Garmin was better.

When dropping off the car with a full tank, the car was checked at Sixt at Faro airport and was all okay! Cost us 85 Euros to do 1549km excluding tolls and bridges toll. The Sixt Office at Faro short 5 minute walk to the terminal, Sixt is also next to other Car Hire Companies.
