“Appalling treatment over failed deliveries”

My hospice arranged with this company to deliver equipment to my address. Following a call from medequip an arrangement was made for installation on 2nd August 2016 though they couldn't give an estimate of what time it would be. My carer took time off and We waited in all day but no one turned up. I referred the failure to my hospice and on 3rd August, I received a call from Medequip yet again to arrange another day. Having stressed to them that they had missed one appointment and that I was too unwell to be messed about another appointment was made for 8th August though yet again despite being unwell, I was supposed to wait all day for the equipment as they could only say that it would be between 10am and 5pm.
For the second time this terribly inefficient company failed to turn up so my carer has now lost two days pay which I am now going to try to make up and I have had the discomfort of having to wait around all day for no reason.
No one from this company has called to apologise for their failure to turn up!
I find it amazing that such a company is being asked to deal with sick elderly and disabled people since they display such a blatant disregard for the well being and time of those they are dealing with. to say that I am now angry and distressed is an understatement
I hope the directors of this company read reviews and institute some sort of system like many other companies of allocating a time window, giving a contact number in case of problems and having more respect for the end users of their service. Until they do, I for one will rate them at less than one star.
