Communications good apparently - they just done tell the client

I approached Irwin Mitchell in November 2015, since then I've chased them, sat back and seen weeks go by, complained. Then told I will speak to my manager and come back to you (approx 4 weeks ago) my complaint letter says we have informed you (in this letter that your access to legal expenses will not cover you? That's the first I knew, no one has told me the funding I provided wasnt acceptable.

I had previodly said I'd pay my expenses / claims myself but I've given up. I've never known a firm who may ask and make enquiries but fail to update a client. It's only when (said client calls or emails - several times, I may, if lucky get a response) some replies have been quite abrupt.

I've still not had a welcome letter (apparently you get one of these) terms and conditions, I've been told a no win no fee but then if you win we want a success fee that they can't tell me what it is but would take some or a bit of any compensation, but bizzaly won't tell me? Weird.

So I'm now in a second complaint, no one (solicitor who's dealing) has contacted me in 6/8 weeks. I dont have a clue if I have anyone doing anything with my instruction and I'm not sure I want anyone in this firm to waste anymore of my time .

In November 2016 I'll have been on somones computer for a year and haven't event even got passed the post of funding- if that's what Irwin Mitchell think is good communication then it needs to take a long hard look at itself and ask are we providing good value to our clients .

How long do you allow funding to drag on for? Set yourself a time limit and just be crystal clear about your process, when your contacted Id expect an email response, it's common curitcy to reply within a set time..

I'm tempted to just terminate my dealings and go elsewhere but not until I've printed all my emails which will prove how many times I've sent requests and had no reply. Vs the times you case audit and say I've been contacted. There are many more times I've emailed you and had nothing even though you state this is not the case

My final point.. You've had instruction almost 1yr and nothing's happened? Do you think that's acceptable given I have chronic pain through a negligent supplier and lower spinal injuries

I would never, ever use or reccomend Irwin mitchell ever.. I think your too big, lose focus on your customers, you don't know who's doing what and you don't accept when things go wrong.

If you want any advice on dealing with customers - ask your customer date team to show you how to communicate. Up to now if give them 10/10, they've delivered what they have said they will do and it can see an ending in site. With you and your legal team we've not even seen a beginning
