Good Points
A record that will give joy for years.

Bad Points
Can be very hard to get into, and Coner Obersts is a fine songwriter not a singer

General Comments
Bright Eyes, Lifted Or the Story Is in the Soil Keep Your Ear to the Ground is a remarkable effort overall, though it can be torturous to engage with, but stick with it and eventually it pays dividends. A few friends of mine hate it, so Coner Obersts status as the new Bob Dylan or Kurt Cobain might not be secure yet.
