General Accident have taken incompetence to a new level. We reported a claim four weeks ago, no calls or email from them, I've had to continually chase. They then lied and told my wife that the garage had spoken to me on a certain date (which did not happen). Perhaps the most frustrating thing is the fact that whenever you call them it takes on average 45 minutes on hold to get through, what an absolute joke.
When my wife spoke them, the adviser was also sarcastic and codescending. I wouldn't recommend General Accident if they were the last building standing on the planet.
