“Delivery Process Poor”

Ordered sand and ballast online - got an email with delivery dates etc - fine.

On the day of delivery I checked the email and saw I should have received a message the night before. Concerned I may be sitting at home pointlessly I phoned Customer Services. They said they needed to check with the branch so I left it with them. 2 hours later no news so I phoned branch - they hadn't heard from CS but did confirm I would have a pm delivery (could have taken a half day if I'd known!).

Lorry arrived - only 2 of 3 bags on the load - the driver had to collect it from a local branch and return later.

I tried to moan about this on the Wickes review site but guess what - they rejected my review as "not within guidelines", ie don't moan about the service, just the product.

Very unhappy.
