“Excellent service - dont be put off by negative reviews!”

I have just come home from a lovely break away in Majorca. I booked this company (Shuttle Direct) for our private transfers from Palma to Alcudia. I chose this company over others because they were considerably cheaper. However in the weeks leading up to holiday I started to panic after reading so many negative and concerning reviews on here. I really was worried. I contacted the company via their UK helpline and I spoke to operators both by email and over the phone. It was easy to get through to someone and they were very helpful and reassuring that my booking was secure. When we arrived to Palma I did start to initially panic as I couldn't see a driver holding a name card with my name on as I was told would happen. I called the emergency office number and was answered straight away by someone who reassured me that our driver was here but that he was further down in the arrivals section. I stupidly didn't realise that the arrivals doors came out to a few different sections! Anyway, we soon found our driver who was lovely and friendly and straight away took our bags and led us to the car which was parked a short distance away. He then took us straight to the hotel. On our return transfer, the same man picked us up...he arrived 5 mins earlier than originally stated but bless him he was happy to wait for us whilst we said our goodbyes to the hotel! If I had to give any criticism it would be just that his driving was a bit fast especially round corners..especially noticeable in the MPV we were in!! But that is possibly just how they all drive in Majorca!!! All in all....a really good service which I will happily use again.
