“Product Issues - Buyer beware (Westbury Ivory)”

Like many reviews, service excellent, nicely presented showrooms and extensive range. Installation team outstanding not to mention the surveyor who with some recommendations came up with an improved design. End result we were very happy.

So what is the problem...Installed January 2013 we noticed in February this year one of the doors had delaminated that is the foil skin had come away from the door leaving a bubble effect. Replaced under warranty (not fitted mind you that will cost you over £100 for the visit) we now have two further doors that have failed in the past week. With a total of 28 doors / drawer fronts how many more will fail?

We would never purchase this product again nor recommend it. At the time of purchase it represented great value for money but now we are worried, if not daily then certainly weekly we examine each door. This cannot become a lifetimes work and while Optiplan are sympathetic they do like to remind you each time about their terms and conditions and the cost to fit which feels like a selling opportunity to them. Incidentally it took over 8-weeks to get the replacement door.
