ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS DURING THE LAST MONTH I HAVE PURCHASED AN ITEM AT THE GRANTHAM MORRISONS STORE AND FOUND THAT THE PRICE MARKED ON THE SHELF WAS LOWER THAN CHARGED AT THE CHECKOUT. THIS AMOUNTS TO OBTAINING MONEY BY DECEPTION AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED. IT CANT ALWAYS BE 'HUMAN ERROR'. THAT WAS THE REASON GIVEN BY THE INDIFFERENT STORE MANAGER WHO AT THE TIME OF MY COMPLAINT GAVE THE IMPRESSION HE COULDNT CARE A LESS. IF IT WAS 'HUMAN ERROR' WHY DOES IT HAPPEN SO OFTEN???
I WILL BE CONTACTING TRADING STANDARDS SINCE THIS IS ALSO MISS REPRESENTATION. NOT EVERYONE CHECKS THEIR RECEIPTS AND OVER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME WITH THOUSANDS OF CUSTOMERS THIS AMOUNTS TO A CONSIDERABLE SUM OF MONEY MORRISONS IS CHEATING THEIR CUSTOMERS OUT OF. I WILL NEVER GO INTO A MORRISONS STORE AGAIN AND THAT APPLIES TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO ALL AGREE THIS IS DISGRACEFUL.
