My first contact with Voicehost was from one of there sales agents contacting me with the intention of trying to convert my small business to a VoIP system. I have over 50 lines all currently carried via VoIP and thought I would give them a chance to provide me with a quote, with which I could compare against my own bill. My Mistake!
From being promised a guaranteed 50% of my current bill that price suddenly skyrockets as I was told there platform only supports a specific phone which (unsurprisingly) was the most expensive on the market. When I mentioned this the agent became increasingly hostile almost trying to bully me, insulting my intelligence and implying that this is basic procedure for me to have spend almost £3000 to convert to there system.
After this call I decided to do a little personal research and trust me when I say there are far better companies doing this at a much better quality and a far better price! But unfortunatly the saga did not end there!
The said agent contacted me again to see if I would reconsider and offered me a reduced price, that I still found to be almost 4 times expensive as the next company! When I said to this agent this he decided to say he is sorry I felt that way and promptly hung up the phone and contacted me 8 times in as many weeks to change my mind. When I also requested to speak to a director I was always told it was not possible and was always passed to the same arrogant agent who I can only was never taught any manors!
Poor Show all round, terrible customer serivce and hideously over priced! One can only assume this company will not be around for long!
