“I wanted a pair of straighteners which I could...”

written by rolo on 08/12/2004

Good Points
As good as GHDs. Heats up in about 30 seconds.

Bad Points
Advertised as 60 - 210 degrees variable temperature, but even on lowest setting it heats up to 150 without stopping

General Comments
I wanted a pair of straighteners which I could potentially use every day, so I chose the Fox Variable Deluxe as it was reasonably priced and came highly recommended.

The only problem I have found with it is the fact that even on the lowest temperature the straighteners seems to want to heat up to 150, and stay there (unless you turn them off), but the straighteners are clearly advertised as 60 - 210 degrees.

Other than that I would recommend them to anyone, as they are as good as GHDs, but only cost £66 for top of the range.
