“incompetent, careless and rude!”

took my car in for an a/c recharge and clean. My car was in perfect functioning order. I was told it would take 1.5 hours, my car was in there for 4, and I got a phone call stating my battery had died and all the warning lights had come on. Literally ALL...
When asked what they had done to my car, the answer was - I don't know... the battery went flat, so we had to jump start the car....
You don't know????

To put a long story short, the staff at ATS in Torquay have completely ruined my car by jumpstarting it wrong! I have had 2 second opinions by specialists in my car, and both have confirmed they have broken my computer in my car by jumpstarting the car WRONG....

How incompetent....!!!

As if that is not enough, the person involved is completely unapologetic, and does not take any responsibility for what he has caused...

The damage is at least £800.00 for repairs, and lets not even talk about the inconvenience caused by not having a car for 10 days....

He would not apologise, and stated, it was a COINCIDENCE that all the warning lights have gone on.... (sigh)

I have spoken to Trading Standards, and am taking this to court if head office ignores this issue...

The specialist who has given me an official letter stating the cause of the damage to the car could not believe how incompetent the mechanics at ATSare, and suggested the person in question should be sacked!!!!!!

For the sake of a £30.00 job, I have now been struck with £800.00 + in repairs, and the stress and inconvenience of having to go to court.

DO NOT USE!!!

To make everything worse - the rudeness of the man, and his complete indifference in what damage he has caused, is absolutely appalling!!!


AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
