“great machines, many fakes on the market”

written by axFaulkner63 on 08/05/2016

I bought my first LTT about ten years ago, bad experience like many bought mine off the internet cheaper than through main supplier, it was noisy dropped grease and the resistance mechanism disintegrated by day two, I was convinced it was a fake as even the LTT sticker was hanging off and from what I remember other details weren't right, I struggled to get my money back but bought a Reebok mini stepper with cords it was a much simpler mechanism basically an adjustable brake band, which does wear and drops dust but the principle proved a great exercise machine once motivated I found it easy to have a good workout and tone up. Today, I visited my local recycling centre and found they had 2 LTT's and a Reebok mini stepper I paid just £2 for a proper LateralThigh Trainer that has had little use I can see straight away that my first one was just a cheap fake, as this is quiet smooth and seems really well made, my guess is that all the reports here of major quality issues were those fake items which flooded into the U.K. As it seems some were fine yet many fell apart within days of purchase, I reckon older ones finding their way into recycling centres that work just like the ones the girl used to advertise are quality original Lateral Thigh Trainers.
