“worst delivery ever”

Sadly I have to write a really bad review which i hate doing. A delivery was booked for collection on 28th Jan 2016.

1. They turned up on the wrong day to the wrong house.
2. I called to sort this out and they turned up a second time, again to the wrong house and the occupant had to point them to the correct house.
3. No text messages were received to say parcel collected etc.
4. The parcel did not arrive on due date in Spain.
5. Chasing the parcel was a nightmare and has taken months, we were given the run around and it has cost a fortune in phone calls, including calling a number they gave us in Spain where the parcel was supposed to be. They had never heard of it!
6. Excuses were made from incorrect address to it is the delivery company not us. The delivery company, quite rightly pointed out that our contract was with My parcel delivery. Nobody wanted to know.
7. The recipient in Spain was NEVER contacted despite My Parcel Delivery saying they would contact her.
8. There were really bad at responding to emails or returning calls as promised.
9. Eventually the parcel arrived back in England and back to original senders address and was in a really bad condition, damage and ripped open with dozens of stickers all over it. This eventual return of parcel was just over 10 weeks from when it has left us and it had travelled all over from what we could ascertain.
10. The company refused to re-send the parcel so we had to accept its return, despite its terrible condition.
11. We had to fight to get a refund, which eventually got paid in two parts and NO compensation of any kind has been offered despite our requesting of it.

Overall this has been a horrible experience which went on for two and half months. I was sending this parcel on behalf of my neighbours who are in their 80's and did not need this stressful experience.

Personally i would steer clear of My Parcel Delivery. Not just because they were unsuccessful at delivering the parcel, but because when problems occur they pass you off to pillar and post and do not care at all. They certainly did not care that the parcel is ripped open damaged and in a terrible state or that this situation has caused a great amount of stress for my neighbours. They were rude on the phone at times, extremely dismissive and uninterested and they NEVER kept their promises.
Whilst I totally accept that sometimes things can go wrong, i do not accept that they should deal with these problems in such a bad, unprofessional way.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS - I KNOW I WILL
