“Disrespectful and Arrogant”

My hope for finding a proper permanent job after being out of work were knackered by Hays, when I dealt with a 'senior' rep with non existant PR skills, which was out of place and never expected. After what was thought to be a good start, I was asked in a rude tone 'What's with all these contact roles on your CV, Hmmmm?' As if it wasn't bad enough being spoken down to by someone younger than me with unfair advantages, and an I'm-all-right-jack attitude, he then went on to claim I looked 'sleazy' in a photo of me taken in Dundee with my new car that was on my web page. When I said he went too far, he snapped at me in a snarky nasal voice, saying it was merely 'constructive criticism', what utter rubbish!

He then emailed me some utterly useless interview preparation notes, which made my eyes glaze over due to being painfully familiar. The rep rang me back two days later to quiz me, and not liking my answers, he said 'You didn't read my notes, did you?' And began going on nonstop with a lot of patronizing comments and attacks on my character, so I put on the speaker-phone so that an 'ear-witness' could listen. The person I was with at the time shook her head side to side, gobsmacked at what she was hearing, and agreed on how unprofessional he was. Needless to say, I decided to deal with another agency, but made my feelings known to his superiors!
