Good Points
Light weight; Reasonably sized screen; Tri band (use anywhere in the world); Camera (store about 70 (photo's); Sound recording (30s max); Loud alarm.

Bad Points
Poor quality camera. No flash.

General Comments
People have raved about how great the camera is on the Sagem MYV-55 but you don't realise just how poor the quality is until you transfer the pictures onto a pc. They are just fine when viewed on the mobile but that is what they were specifically designed for. If you intend to transfer, set the photo format to high resolution to give a larger image suitable for viewing on a pc. You will, however, find that a high level of light is needed.

Many people have had trouble with data transfer cables, bought mainly on e-Bay, which have not been too reliable.

The price paid was 80.00GBP (120.00 Euros) which included 20.00GBP of call credit.

When choosing a camera phone, make sure the resolution is at least 2Mp if you want respectable images on your pc. I can send samples of pictures to give an idea of the poor quality, just contact me at [email protected]

The sound recording is very good but a bit short, it has a sensitive microphone so don't hold it too close to the source, especially if music; I recorded some of the performers in the Jemaa el Fna in Marrakech and the sound was quite impressive.
