“Why do the writers of Coronation Street treat its...”

Written on: 30/05/2010

Why do the writers of Coronation Street treat its viewers like fools who would not know any better. The characters seem to have a change complex that would not occur in everyday life.

Gail is supposed to have murdered Joe, but there was never any solid evidence. Tracy lets them know about a rolling pin which there is no forensic evidence to say it was used.

Tina goes on some kind of mad trip and despite all she knows about Gail

somehow thinks that Gail is capable of murder. I want to slap her so hard

because its simply so annoying that she would consider Gail to be capable of murder. When she knows that her father was a complete waste of space and

choose all the wrong routes because he was too stupid.

Sarah has stayed away at a time when her own mother is going on trial for murder. Thats amazing as most people, even if they were in Australia would support their parents.

People on remand do not share a cell with someone convicted of murder. Tracy seems to think she can be moved to an open prison because of her daughter. She is responsible for the murder of someone not some causual crime and yet the writers expect us to go along with their rubbish.
