Good Points
It washes well and clean. It takes a king size quilt. It is well made, strong, takes constant washes without many problems over the years. If problems arise, Dyson are on to it as soon as they are able and put it right in no time at all. On occasions we have had to wait a few days for an engineer but Dyson put themselves out to get to us as soon as they are able. I have no complaints except one and that is the filter.

Bad Points
The filter, coin catcher at the bottom of the front of the machine is a pain to empty. I understand it has to be in a low postion to drain out, but finding a pan to put underneath the round hole after the little transparent cover is removed, and shallow enough to slip underneath to catch the water, (especially if the drum is full) is a slow proccess. Because the dish has to be shallow it cannot hold much of the water and has to be constantly emptied and the cover held into place each time in case of a flood! If the coin catcher could be a little higher, the whole machine would be perfect in every way.

General Comments
I bought my Dyson CR01 Contrarotator in 1998 or 1999 and paid just over a 1000 pounds for it through my home catalogue. It was new on the market and I wanted the best. It has been wonderful over the last 9 years and still going strong. Dyson have constantly insured it for me, and under the constant extended warranties, and insurance cover they have never complained about it's age, and replaced the doors, the motors, the soap dish, the drum, in fact, other than the shell of it, which I might add, is still in perfect condition, I still have a perfect washing machine which is used twice minimum every day of the week . Thankyou Dyson. If ever I had to buy a new washing machine I would buy exactly the same machine again.
