Having previously owned two Honda Blackbirds and before that an Africa Twin, I was beguiled by the FJR1300 after riding a mates, so I bought a 51 plated, 1 owner bike for £5700 with just 3000 miles on the clock (this was a 5 year old bike at the time)! I think it's a fantastic machine, performance is effortless, comfort is great, handling is very good - I feel more in command on this bike that I ever did on the Blackbirds - and fuel consumption is frugal. The bike is really easy to ride and maintenance is a doddle (it's lovely not having to oil a chain or clean up the mess that results).



Bad points? Well, there really aren't any for me. A really great, practical, fast sports tourer.
